Michael Schmidt: Michael Schmidt is a best-selling African author, field reporter and human rights rapporteur with 32 years' experience in 47 countries on six continents, and a reputation for producing unique and challenging work. He has six non-fiction books published and is developing six more books and four multimedia projects.
